Getting ripped abs can be challenging. Knowing what to do is half the battle and if you are steady with your objective you might just have great success. The secret is staying 100 percent hydrated with good old water and avoid soft drinks and juices if possible.
Being hydrated is extremely important. This will boost your performance as well as prevent any risks of getting overheated. It is also important for fat metabolism which is performed by your liver. If you're trying to lose fat, you want your liver focused on metabolizing your body fat for energy as much as possible, however, if you're not getting enough water, the liver will kick in and start helping your dehydrated, water-deprived kidneys perform it's functions, so instead of metabolizing fat into usable energy the fat will be stored inconveniently into your body, leaving you with extra fat for the day.
Being hydrated is necessary in fighting gum disease and in producing saliva. In case you may not know, saliva is the mouth's natural defense against bacteria for it is rich in oxygen making it difficult for th bacteria to live. Drinking sufficient water, not soda, but WATER is so important to the health of the cells, and replaces the moisture lost from coughing or sneezing. This is, of course, even more critical if a fever is present. Drink lots of water, if you're working out, playing hard, etc a 50/50 mix of water and a sports drink. It is a very good idea to rehydrate with to replace some of the minerals and nutrients lost during exercise.

Drinking water will replace lost water and avoid dehydration, but if the person is unable to take any other drink or food then lost electrolytes will not be replaced, which can result in water intoxication. Drink at least 2 liters of water every day. Tea and coffee does not count, but you can drink them. Drink 50-75% of your body weight in ounces of water.
Drinking at least 9 - 10 glasses of water every day as it a natural way to lower the intensity of toxics in your body from the impurities caused by eating junk food or drinking alcohol. You will feel better at the end of the day and will be able to sleep well. If you are not use to drinking a lot of water, eventually your bladder will get use to it or you can begin by spreading it out through out your busy schedule daily.
Remember there are no shortcuts to well being is just a matter of daily practice and consistency.
